Visual Fields Testing
What Is a Visual Field Test?
Your visual field is how wide of an area you can see while you focus on a central point. Visual Field Testing quantitatively measures this ability, known as peripheral vision.
Visual field testing is most frequently used to detect signs of damage to the optic nerve caused by glaucoma. It can also assist in diagnosing a range of other conditions, for example, tumours and strokes.
At Stephen Daly Optometrist, we offer visual field testing as part of our wide range of eye examination services.
